Behavioral Specialist

Tendaji CDC, the state’s leader in educational and personal programming that increases positive outcomes for underserved youth and families in Central Arkansas, is looking for an ambitious, proactive and innovative professional to join our Reclaiming Scholars team as a Behavioral Specialist. If you want to help students achieve personal and academic success through healthy behavioral habits that improve their quality of life, our Behavioral Specialist position could be for you!

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and instruct character building and behavior modification lessons
  • Conduct counseling sessions
  • Conduct site visits with students and administrators that allow you to go beyond the program and maintain relationships with students upon their return to the classroom
  • Collect and analyze data

Qualified candidates must:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science
  • Have experience working with youth ages 12 – 18
  • Have availability Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Be willing to work full time and on a contractual basis
